What is the G-SHOCK GW-M5610?
The G-SHOCK GW-M5610 is the square DW-5600 design with Tough Solar charging and Multi-Band 6 radio time sync. Casio says it carries on the design of the DW-5000C from 1983.
How long does the GW-M5610 run on a charge?
A fully charged GW-M5610 runs about 10 months of normal use without exposure to light, according to Casio. Normal daylight or indoor light keeps it topped up, so most owners never think about it.
How big is the GW-M5610?
The GW-M5610 measures 46.7 × 43.2 × 12.7 mm and weighs 51.7 g, according to Casio. It is slightly shorter and thinner than the DW-5600.
What is the difference between the GW-M5610 and GW-M5610U?
The GW-M5610U is the 2021 update with module 3495 and an LED light, replacing module 3159 and its EL backlight. G-Central notes the U version is sold in the U.S. as the GWM5610-1; the module number on the case back confirms which one you have.
Is the GW-M5610 water resistant?
The GW-M5610 is rated 200 m (660 ft, 20 bar) water resistant by Casio, which covers swimming and showering. It is not an ISO-certified dive watch.
How much does the GW-M5610 cost?
Casio's U.S. list price for the GW-M5610 (sold as the GWM5610-1) is $165, as recorded by G-Central, and it is frequently discounted. That is about $65 more than the battery-powered DW-5600.
