Do Custom G-SHOCKs Have a Warranty? Casio Coverage vs Customizer Coverage
Short answer
Casio's U.S. limited warranty covers the original purchaser for one year from purchase, except consumables and parts with limited resistance such as the battery, band and case. A custom G-SHOCK has been altered after leaving Casio, so the customizer's own terms matter; at Bezelwright, coverage is our 14-day return policy, and anything that arrives defective, damaged or not as ordered is made right.
What Casio's U.S. warranty covers
Casio warrants a new watch to its original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase. Consumables and parts with limited resistance, such as the battery, band and case, are excluded.
Does customizing a G-SHOCK affect Casio's warranty?
Assume yes for anything that was changed. Casio's warranty language for refurbished watches says the warranty does not apply to altered products, and painted, coated or swapped parts are alterations. That is why a customizer's own terms are the ones to read.
